Perhaps a System Reboot? To reset, rediscover normal living without dependency! How do you know when to find help?
The questions to ask are:
Do you compulsively think about or crave drinking alcohol, gambling, over eating, pornography or use drugs every day?
Are you missing work, late for appointments? Did your decision to get high, drunk, or temporarily feel good have something to do with drugs, food, alcohol, gambling or pornography?
Are you socially active? Do you use drugs or alcohol with friends? Or do you prefer to be alone?
Do you struggle with temptation? Is your situation getting worse? Have you tried to stop and failed?
Do you feel ashamed or disappointed after you did something that you told yourself, never again?
Have you ever lost the ability to stand, walk straight, and speak clearly or passed out from drugs or alcohol? Do you find yourself apologizing later?
Does anyone in your circle: spouse, family, friends, and coworkers know the truth regarding your condition? If so, have they suggested you get help?
Have you noticed a change in your body? Do you see yourself differently? Have you stopped doing things you once enjoyed because you have lost interest? Or something else.
If you answered “yes” to any of these above question then it’s time to get help.
Trying harder doesn’t work, the longer you wait will only increase your loss. What loss? You have everything to lose and nothing to gain if you continue.
Unfortunately, my clients share their stories regarding how it started, how it increased and never decreased, the emotional, physical damage or loss. How much are you willing to lose?
Do have any idea how much this addictive behavior is costing you? How long can you afford to pretend that you have this under control? How would you function if you lost your business or employment? How would you handle your spouse moving out and how does that affect your children?
Hopefully you will consider the financial loss. Whatever you decide be sure you are ready to move forward. Depending on your individual situation, help is available at every level. Understanding where you are right now and where you want to be will be based on your commitment and willingness to change.
Are you ready to make a commitment today? Are you tired of making excuses? To get started you must want to be free and ready to learn how to live a normal life in balance without the craving in control of your life.
What is your commitment level right now? From 1-10… 10- being best! When you are seven or higher contact Mike to discuss the next step: (561) 868-6808 or use the contact form on the right.
